Introducing Art Bae Award
Art Bae is thrilled to partner with Safety Net Fund to launch the Art Bae Award.
The award is designed to help working artists in the Bay to finish a project already in motion.
It's for artists who have already invested significant time and effort into a project and need one final boost—whether for an exhibition, publication, performance, or genre-bending masterwork too avant-garde for a single category.
It’s tough out there, we know. Think of this as a finishing grant. You have a venue, you’re just about ready to go, but that little more help would make all the difference.
Through two selection cycles, 6 artists will be awarded $3,000 each to help them get it done.

Author of Relics (2015) and Colors (2023), he has also been a recipient of the Creative Capital/Andy Warhol Grant for Art Writers.
