Good Mother Studio is honored to be invited to guest curate a pop-up group exhibition at 120710 Gallery, an institution in Berkeley that has long provided space, support, and opportunity for artists within the community. As a gallery whose values closely align with 120710’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and artist-centered environment, this collaboration feels both meaningful and deeply resonant. This exhibition marks Good Mother Studio’s first showcase in Berkeley, California, after being a Bay Area–based gallery for the past decade. We are excited to bring our aesthetic and curatorial perspective to a neighboring city that has played such a vital role in the region’s creative landscape.

The works presented reflect what we believe best represents our identity as a gallery while highlighting some of the Bay Area’s most talented artists—many of whom we have had the privilege of working with over the years. The exhibition features an array of mediums and approaches, intentionally without a unifying theme, allowing artists the freedom to present the work they are currently creating without barriers or constraint.
