American Indian Cultural District (AICD)
The Store House, Building D Lobby, First Floor
AICD presents a new public art display of spheres designed by Drew Valencia (Ohlone and Kashia Pomo), and Edward “Redbird” Willie (Pomo, Wintu, Paiute, Wailaki). Talks by the artists with Sharaya Souza, (Taos Pueblo, Ute, Kiowa) Executive Director, AICD: 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
We Are The Land: Between Earth & Sky, murals by Jewelina Acosta (Yokaia) and Brittany Burrows (Nomlaki-Wintun, Pomo).
Building C, First Floor
Haines Gallery’s 250 Years, Indigenous Futures is a group exhibition centering the work of leading Native American artists Victoria Grace Canby, Jordan Ann Craig, Sky Hopinka, Brad Kahlhamer, Terran Last Gun, Jamie Okuma, Wendy Red Star, and Keith Secola.
Public opening reception: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Premiere of Magic’s new series, SEAT ONE, where one audience member at a time experiences a performance created especially for them. Actor and Magic’s Artistic Director Sarah Nina Hayon performs monologues by playwright Joey Palestina.
Performances every five minutes: 5:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; 6:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; 7:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

San Francisco Children’s Art Center: Hands-on exploration of family-friendly letterpress and block-printing techniques. Artists of all ages are invited to roll up their sleeves to design and pull their own print. 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Visit the Arion Press Gallery Showroom, browse the latest releases, learn about type history, and register for a tour. Tour tickets are free when you register during the Art Walk.
