Bay Area Media Maker Summit @ Roxie Theater
Are you a Bay Area filmmaker? On Sunday, September 27th, The Roxie is proud to host the Bay Area Media Makers Summit 518 Valencia. As a founding member of BAMMS, we believe that gathering together is essential to building collective power across our local film community. This year’s sessions will focus on archives in documentary filmmaking and Latinx filmmaking in the Bay Area.
And join us after the summit in Golden Gate Park for Lamb and Rum, a free BBQ for the Bay Area film community hosted by George Rush. Celebrate filmmakers, presenters, and film advocates over an afternoon of food and community!
In addition to hosting BAMMS, The Roxie offers several resources to local artists, including Roxie Review–sliding scale tech checks for projects under development–and Roxie Mixtape–our micro festival showcasing short films by local artists.
