Helena Roeber discusses the development of Pacific Edge, from encounters with fog and coastal light to composition studies, layering, scraping and rebuilding—and how observation gradually gives way to memory and abstraction.

Bridge Gallery is located within Mithun’s historic third-floor office in San Francisco’s East Cut neighborhood. Dedicated to showcasing local artists, Bridge enriches our workspace by offering clients, tenants and the public the opportunity to engage with new and inspiring work. Renovated in 2023, this gallery space offers a spectacular backdrop with the warmth and texture of its brick structure. Bridge Gallery is open to the public Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
