GCS Agency, in partnership with Fairmont San Francisco, supported by The Svane Family Foundation and ABG Foundation, is proud to announce the inaugural edition of Art.Fair.Mont, a boutique contemporary art fair taking place January 18–20, 2026, at the iconic Fairmont San Francisco as part of SF Art Week. 

Hosted in the Fairmont’s storied Pavilion Room, Art.Fair.Mont presents a focused, elevated presentation of leading contemporary galleries in an intimate, design-forward setting. Originally constructed in 1914, the Pavilion Room is a refined Beaux-Arts–inspired ballroom offering rare indoor–outdoor flow into the hotel’s revered Rooftop Garden, creating a serene, art and light-filled environment unlike any other venue in the city. 

GCS Agency leads the production of Art.Fair.Mont, overseeing curatorial direction, gallery engagement, and production, while ABG Foundation (501c3) serves as the fair’s Fiscal Sponsor, ensuring that a portion of proceeds directly supports arts and culture initiatives in the Bay Area. The fair is presented with backing from The Svane Family Foundation, whose commitment to cultural innovation and revitalization has played a vital role in bringing Art.Fair.Mont to life. Fairmont San Francisco, the anchor partner, generously provides their phenomenal venue and unmatched hospitality. 

As an official part of the SF Art Week program, Art.Fair.Mont will connect with a global audience of collectors, curators, and cultural leaders arriving in San Francisco ahead of FOG Design+Art. 

Art.Fair.Mont opens with an invite-only VIP Preview on Sunday, January 18, followed by Public Viewing Days on January 19–20. In the spirit of accessibility, admission on public days is free with a suggested donation of $10 per person (pay what you can) — a portion of proceeds directly benefits ABG Foundation's mission of empowering arts and culture in the Bay Area. Intentionally designed as a tightly curated presentation prioritizing quality, clarity, and discovery, Art.Fair.Mont is positioned at the intersection of contemporary art, architecture, luxury hospitality, and the evolving cultural identity of San Francisco’s tastemakers.
