Art21’s 'Realms of the Real' @ Root Division
Join Root Division for a free screening of Art21’s Realms of the Real, presented as part of the Art21 Screening Society.
The four internationally acclaimed artists featured in Realms of the Real conduct historical research, examine the complexities of culture and identity, and explore the intersections of art, science, fantasy, and fiction to expand our understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Featured artists include Njideka Akunyili Crosby, Ragnar Kjartansson, Candice Lin, and Tomás Saraceno.
Art21’s Screening Society is a program that brings communities together to experience documentary films about contemporary art. By providing free access to these films, the program fosters conversation, inspires creative thinking, and broadens engagement with contemporary art.
This event is free and open to the public. RSVP is encouraged. Walk-ins welcome if space accommodates.
