Sunfire brings together six Bay-area photographic artists who make innovative use of custom tools and optics to create landscape imagery that harnesses the power of sunlight and fire. Through image appropriation, experiments with film and fabric, prolonged exposures, direct burns, and prismatic color fields, these artists make work that showcases the dramatic versatility of natural light.
