Memories: Yours, Mine, Ours @ HIT

HIT is excited to announce our next exhibition, Memories: Yours, Mine, Ours.

This large survey of gouache paintings by Irishh presents colorful, densely layered still lifes and abstract works that capture moments of happiness, fun, love, and tenderness. Groups of people are often at the center of her paintings, reflecting her enduring fascination with human connection and community.

Over the course of her 70-year life, Irishh has cultivated many creative practices. She is a musician, bandleader, ceramicist, playwright, director, and writer, to name just a few. This marks her first solo exhibition of paintings and her first time exhibiting for the HIT audience.

Expect a maximalist, immersive display of small paintings, each creating its own world to get lost in. Expect to want to spend time with the work.
