This October, CAP artist Lewis Basher invites us into Cornucopia of Madness: A Journey Through My Mind, a solo exhibition exploring the strange, vivid, and deeply personal world of his imagination.
Lewis doesn’t shy away from looking under the bed, following a strange thought, or wandering back into the world of a childhood nightmare. Through art, he gives shape to fear, chaos, memory, and the things that can be difficult to put into words. As Lewis says, “Art is actually the first thing I’ve felt comfortable with for years. It has pulled me out of the insanity that my life has become.”
