Jessica Silverman is pleased to present “Run Like the Rain,” a new body of work by artist Julia Chiang, on view July 24 through August 30, 2025. The exhibition brings together a trio of voluptuous ceramic sculptures and eight new paintings that range in scale from intimate to immersive. In both mediums, Chiang explores the tension between structure and fluidity. Her distinct forms and mark-making echo natural phenomena, often evoking rain storms, oceans, and fog as metaphors for emotional landscapes.
