Birdhouse Gallery is pleased to present “the things we hold, the things we carry”, a solo exhibition of new work by San Francisco artist Catherine Lipsetz Dauer that expands her ongoing exploration of time’s marks, pace and passage through reflections on the sentimentality, attachments and misconceptions that result from collecting and keeping objects over long periods. The exhibition features a group of large-scale paintings inspired by looking deeply at the beauty and mystery of a singular, treasured object from the artist’s personal collection.

On Wednesday, November 19th at 7:00PM the artist is hosting a live experimental music performance entitled ""A Sonic Response to the Exhibition" by Eagle Friend Radio [Lenny Gonzalez solo].
